About Us:

The Government Pensions Administration Agency manages pension funds for 1.7 million government employees and pensioners. We administer benefits on behalf of Africa’s largest pension fund (GEPF) under the Ministry of Finance.

Requirements:

  • 3-year Diploma/Degree in Internal Audit or IT Audit (NQF Level 6, 360 credits)
  • 3-5 years IT audit experience with 2 years supervisory experience
  • Professional certification (CIA/CISA) preferred
  • Membership with Institute of Internal Auditors SA required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic audit plans through risk assessment
  • Lead IT system audits and control evaluations
  • Prepare detailed audit reports with improvement recommendations
  • Monitor implementation of corrective actions
  • Manage audit team performance and development
  • Stay updated on audit best practices and legislative changes
