Location: Pretoria, Gauteng
Position Requirements:
- Matric Certificate/Senior Certificate (Grade 12 equivalent)
- 3-year National Diploma (NQF 6) or Degree (NQF 7) in Records Management, Archival Studies, Information Science, or related qualification
- Valid driver’s license
- 2-3 years’ experience in archival/records management (including 2 years at Archivist level)
- Knowledge of Public Service regulations and archival legislation
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee implementation of records management systems across government bodies
- Conduct inspections and audits of public records storage facilities
- Develop and coordinate records management training programs
- Manage public sector compliance with archival legislation and policies
- Supervise NAAIRS database access control and maintenance
- Contribute to national records management awareness initiatives
