Assistant Director – Information And Communication Technology (ICT)

Requirements:

  • A Grade 12 certificate or equivalent (matric) and a relevant National Diploma at NQF Level 6 in Information Communication and Technology, or an equivalent qualification recognized by SAQA. A Degree at NQF Level 7 is an added advantage. ITIL and ITSM certifications.
  • At least three years of experience at a supervisory level in Information Communication and Technology.
  • A valid driver’s licence.
  • Key Competencies: Knowledge of ICT governance frameworks, COBIT, risk management, and audit processes. Skills in programme and project management, financial and human resource management. Strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills.

Duties:

  • Oversee the development, maintenance, and security of ICT systems and infrastructure, including LMIS, the College website, and learning and teaching platforms. Manage ICT governance frameworks, policies, audits, and risk registers.
  • Coordinate ICT operations, service delivery, and agreements with service providers. Manage ICT assets, procurement, budgets, and reporting. Handle staff performance, leave administration, discipline, and development. Prepare management reports and take part in strategic planning.
