Requirements

  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • NQF Level 6 Diploma in Medical Technology or equivalent
  • HPCSA registration
  • 3 years supervisory experience in HIV/AIDS/STI programs
  • Knowledge of laboratory services and government health regulations

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement quality management systems for HIV testing nationwide
  • Manage procurement and distribution of approved test kits
  • Train healthcare staff on rapid testing procedures and certification
  • Support provincial HIV testing campaigns and outreach programs
  • Monitor compliance with national testing standards
