Position: Assistant Director: Forensic Audit (Investigations)

Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time

Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in Accounting/Auditing/Forensic Investigations/LLB

Experience Needed: 3-5 years in Auditing/Forensic Investigations

Location: Pretoria, Gauteng

Department: Financial Compliance & Investigations

Required Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Preferred Additional Credentials:
    • Postgraduate qualification in investigative fields
    • Professional certifications (CFE, CIA, CA, FP(SA))
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Public Finance Management Act
    • Fraud prevention legislation
    • Anti-corruption compliance frameworks

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead fraud prevention awareness initiatives
  • Manage forensic investigations per ACFE standards
  • Oversee investigation teams and workflow
  • Prepare detailed compliance reports
  • Coordinate with law enforcement agencies
  • Implement fraud prevention strategies
  • Provide testimony in legal proceedings
