Key Requirements
- Grade 12 Certificate
- 3-year Degree/Diploma (NQF 6/7) in Financial Accounting/Finance
- Proven experience in GRAP-compliant financial reporting
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, BAS, and PERSAL systems
- Valid driver’s license (advantageous)
Essential Competencies
- Expertise in Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) compliance
- Strong numerical analysis and account reconciliation abilities
- Experience managing staff and risk projects
- Ability to present complex financial data to stakeholders
Core Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly/annual financial statements per GRAP standards
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts
- Collaborate with auditors and oversight bodies
- Develop inventory management improvement strategies
- Implement data analytics for financial process optimization
