Key Information

  • Job Type: Full Time
  • Qualifications:
    • Grade 12 certificate
    • 3-year Diploma/Degree (NQF 6) in Building/Construction/Safety Management
    • Postgraduate qualification (advantageous)
  • Experience: 5+ years in Facilities Management & OHS environments
  • Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng

Core Requirements

  • Knowledge of OHS Act, PFMA, Labour Relations Act, and asset management regulations
  • Proven project management skills in infrastructure development
  • Understanding of ISO standards and quality control systems
  • Experience in fleet management and physical security systems

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee building maintenance and infrastructure projects
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations (SHERQ & OHS)
  • Manage college records/documents and facility security protocols
  • Develop strategic maintenance plans and risk registers
  • Coordinate with stakeholders on CIEG-funded projects
  • Prepare project reports and manage resource allocation
