Position: Assistant Director – Employee Health and Wellness

Job Summary

Position Details

  • Employment Type: Full-time
  • Education Requirements:
    – Matric Certificate
    – 3-year Degree/Diploma in Social Work/Psychology (NQF 6)
  • Professional Registration: SACSSP/HPCSA or relevant statutory body
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in Employee Health & Wellness environment
  • Location: Gauteng (Johannesburg)

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate comprehensive employee wellness programs
  • Implement Employee Assistance Program (EAP) strategies
  • Develop and review EHW policies aligned with public service guidelines
  • Conduct workplace health risk assessments
  • Manage occupational health and safety programs
  • Lead diversity management initiatives (gender, disability, youth)
  • Supervise EHW team members
  • Coordinate health awareness campaigns (HIV/AIDS, chronic diseases)
