Requirements:
- Grade 12 certificate
- Bachelor’s degree/NQF Level 7 in Electrical Engineering
- 5 years’ electrical sector experience including 3 years supervisory role
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Preferred: Government Competency Certificate, Project Management qualification
- Proficient in MS Office, project management software, and municipal financial systems
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee electrical infrastructure maintenance and operations
- Manage section staff, contractors, and service providers
- Monitor project delivery against quality standards and budgets
- Develop electrical bylaws and safety protocols
- Prepare technical reports and manage section administration
- Coordinate tender processes and budget management
