Position Summary:
- Employment Type: Full-time Permanent
- Education Requirements:
– Matric Certificate
– Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (NQF Level 7 equivalent) - Location: Gauteng Province
- Department: Engineering & Technical Services
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
- MFMA competency certification or eligibility for dispensation
- Professional engineering registration (advantageous)
- Proven project and financial management experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage electrical consumption analysis and fault detection across residential, commercial, and bulk supply systems
- Supervise technical teams and external service providers
- Coordinate electrical infrastructure planning for new developments
- Oversee network capacity calculations and connection cost estimations
- Manage Small-Scale Embedded Generation (SSEG) installations
- Liaise with utility providers (Eskom, Telkom, Gautrans) on infrastructure projects
