Assistant Dispatch Manager Opportunity – SA Metal Group

Core Role Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily dispatch operations and manage documentation
- Coordinate regional logistics and supervise despatch teams
- Ensure compliance with quality/safety standards (ISO 9001/45001)
- Conduct radiation testing on all metal consignments
- Manage load planning and fleet coordination
- Maintain stock control and inventory accuracy
Essential Requirements:
- Proven supervisory experience in production/logistics
- Strong technical knowledge of metal grades and classifications
- Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software
- Valid Code 08 driver’s license (advantageous)
- OSH Act and Hazardous Materials training certification
