Assistant Chef/Manager Position

Position Summary

  • Oversee kitchen operations and staff performance
  • Develop standardized menus and recipes
  • Maintain Feedem’s quality standards in food preparation and presentation
  • Manage supply orders and inventory control

Key Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Professional Chef qualification
  • 5-7 years kitchen experience with baking background
  • 5+ years management experience
  • Valid driver’s license with own transport

Essential Skills:

  • Strong financial management abilities
  • Menu planning and food costing expertise
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Bilingual (English + additional language)
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills

Core Responsibilities

  • Ensure kitchen hygiene and safety compliance
  • Manage food storage and inventory rotation
  • Conduct staff training on portion control
  • Coordinate weekly team meetings
  • Oversee production planning and quality control
  • Available to work weekends when required
