Assistant Catering Manager – Johannesburg (HC)

Experience Required: 2+ years

Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng

Field: Catering/Confectionery

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support meal production and presentation for daily service and events
  • Manage food quality control and menu costing
  • Handle stock management and supplier orders
  • Maintain hygiene standards (HACCP & NOSA compliance)
  • Conduct staff training and performance monitoring
  • Complete administrative tasks and inventory checks
  • Oversee operations in manager’s absence

Requirements:

  • Matric certificate essential
  • 2+ years supervisory experience in catering/restaurant industry
  • Healthcare environment experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
