Assistant Catering Manager – Healthwise, Empangeni

Position Details:
- Job Type: Full Time
- Minimum Education: Grade 10 Certificate
- Experience Required: 2+ years in catering/restaurant supervision
- Location: Empangeni, KwaZulu-Natal
Key Responsibilities:
- Support kitchen operations including meal preparation and presentation
- Manage food service during lunch periods
- Assist with menu planning and cost calculations
- Oversee stock management and supplier orders
- Maintain hygiene standards (HACCP & NOSA compliance)
- Conduct staff training and performance monitoring
- Handle administrative tasks and inventory control
- Assume managerial duties when required
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in food service
- Grade 10 education certificate or equivalent
- Comprehensive food safety knowledge
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
