Role Overview
Seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Catering Manager to support daily operations in our corporate catering division. This entry-level management position requires hands-on leadership in food production and team coordination.
Core Responsibilities
- Supervise meal production and presentation standards
- Manage lunch service operations
- Assist with menu planning and cost control
- Conduct inventory management and quality checks
- Maintain HACCP and NOSA compliance
- Lead staff training programs
- Handle administrative tasks and reporting
- Oversee facility security and stock rotation
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in food service
- Matric certificate (Grade 12 equivalent)
- Proven track record in restaurant/catering operations
- Comprehensive food safety knowledge
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
