Core Purpose
Ensure high-quality care for residents while supporting carer teams during night shifts (19:00-07:00).
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise 15+ carer team members across facility zones
- Monitor care plan implementation and documentation
- Conduct safety checks and incident reporting
- Manage medical supply inventory
- Coordinate shift handovers and staff communications
- Implement infection control protocols
Requirements
Essential:
- Grade 12 completion
- 2+ years healthcare supervisory experience
- Dementia/palliative care knowledge
- Clear criminal/health/credit records
Advantageous:
- Caregiver certification
- Electronic health record training
Work Structure
- 16.25 night shifts/month (7-day rotation)
- On-call shift allowance available
