  • The main purpose of this job is to coordinate the purchasing of all stock for the business. This ensures that only approved suppliers are used, stock levels stay within limits, and stock-outs are minimized.

Job Description

  • Assist the Buyer with administrative tasks, including providing analytical, operational, and clerical support.
  • Place orders accurately and complete all related paperwork.
  • Manage and create brand names and brand codes for customers.
  • Handle stock management, including ordering, storing, tracking, and controlling inventory.
  • Negotiate prices with suppliers when needed.
  • Help arrange deliveries from suppliers.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and build strong relationships.
  • Keep accurate records and prepare reports.
  • Uphold and promote the company’s values and culture.

Job Requirements

  • Grade 12 certificate.
  • Relevant experience in a computerized retail environment.
  • High level of computer proficiency.
  • 3 years of experience in buying administration.
  • Understanding of retail business principles.
  • Own transport and a valid driver’s license.
