Position: Assistant Branch Manager
Location: Mokopane, Limpopo
Employment Type: Full Time
Experience Level: Mid-Level (3-5 years)
Department: Sales & Business Operations
Core Purpose
Support the Branch Manager in overseeing daily operations at our Distribution Center, including stock management, logistics coordination, and team leadership. Serve as acting manager when required.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12/NQF 4 qualification
- 3-5 years experience in logistics, warehouse, or agricultural operations
- Proven staff management experience (30-40 team members)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Flexibility to work extended hours when needed
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily operational management of distribution center
- Support inventory control and warehouse optimization
- Help coordinate delivery logistics and fleet management
- Manage perishable goods including frozen products and chemicals
- Support HR functions including staff supervision and development
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- Generate operational reports for management review

- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Working knowledge of stock control systems
