Position Overview: Assistant Audit Manager
Location: Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience Level: Mid-Senior (3-5 years)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage external audit engagements from planning to completion
- Supervise audit teams and ensure quality control
- Analyze financial statements and assess compliance
- Maintain client relationships and provide technical guidance
- Implement International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Auditing or equivalent
- Professional certification (CA(SA) preferred)
- 3-5 years’ external audit experience
- Strong knowledge of ISA standards and regulatory frameworks
- Proficiency with audit software and Microsoft Office
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities
