Minimum Requirements

  • Matric certificate or equivalent
  • Competent B Certificate (required)
  • Competent A Certificate (advantageous)
  • Valid First Aid Certificate
  • Medical fitness for underground work

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience supporting mechanical maintenance and repair
  • Understanding of safety regulations and mining codes
  • Ability to interpret technical diagrams and blueprints
  • Familiarity with hand/power tools and maintenance processes
  • Physical capability for lifting and working at heights

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Support machinery repairs under supervision
  • Maintain tools and work areas
  • Follow strict safety protocols
  • Handle material preparation and site cleanliness
