Minimum Requirements
- Matric certificate or equivalent
- Competent B Certificate (mandatory)
- Valid First Aid Certification
- Medical fitness for mining work
Required Skills & Experience
- Practical knowledge of boilermaking operations
- Understanding of Mine Health and Safety regulations
- Ability to interpret technical diagrams and blueprints
- Experience with metal fabrication tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail in maintenance tasks
Key Responsibilities
- Support senior boilermakers in fabrication and repair work
- Prepare and maintain metal components using hand/power tools
- Assist with welding operations and equipment assembly
- Maintain worksite safety standards and housekeeping
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and defect reporting
- Transport materials and tools to worksites as required
