Requirements
- 3-year Diploma in Agriculture (NQF Level 6 or higher)
- Valid registration with SACNAP (South African Council for Natural Scientific Professionals)
- Valid Code B driver’s license
- No prior experience required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide agricultural advisory services to farmers and communities
- Demonstrate sustainable farming techniques and resource management
- Organize agricultural training sessions and farmers’ days
- Conduct farm assessments and develop improvement plans
- Support agricultural projects and food security initiatives
- Facilitate the formation of farmer cooperatives and interest groups
- Collect and analyze agricultural data for reporting
- Promote partnerships with agricultural stakeholders
