Experience: Entry Level
Requirements:
- 3-year Agriculture Diploma (NQF Level 06+)
- Registration with SACNAP (South African Council for Natural Scientific Professionals)
- Valid Code B Driver’s License
Key Responsibilities:
Agricultural Support:
- Provide technical guidance to farmers and stakeholders
- Demonstrate sustainable farming methods
- Coordinate agricultural training sessions and field days
Project Implementation:
- Support food security initiatives and land development programs
- Assist in creating farm business plans
- Facilitate cooperative formation and capacity building
Community Engagement:
- Identify farmer training needs through field visits
- Promote partnerships with agricultural organizations
- Implement best practices for sustainable production
