Requirements

  • 3-year Diploma in Agriculture (NQF Level 6 or higher)
  • Registration with South African Council for Natural Scientific Professionals (SACNAP)
  • Valid Code B driver’s license
  • No prior experience required

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide agricultural advisory services to farmers and stakeholders
  • Demonstrate efficient farming methods and resource management
  • Organize farmer training sessions and field days
  • Support agricultural projects and food security initiatives
  • Facilitate formation of farmer cooperatives and associations
  • Conduct farm visits and develop business plans
  • Promote sustainable agricultural practices
  • Maintain updated farmer databases and submit reports
