Duties:
Reporting directly to the Accountant: Budget and Reporting, the successful candidate will perform the following duties:

  • Prepare and consolidate budgets.
  • Maintain the investment register, including making investments.
  • Reconcile the investment register to the financial system every month.
  • Help compile monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for National Treasury and other stakeholders.
  • Assist in preparing the budget and entering it into National Treasury schedules.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of records.
  • Help gather financial information for preparing financial statements.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 plus a National Certificate in Accounting or Financial Management or equivalent.
  • Municipal Financial Management Act Programme Certification.
  • No criminal record.
  • 2 years of relevant experience.
