Required Qualifications

  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • National Diploma (NQF 6) or Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in Finance/Economics
  • Proven experience analyzing financial statements and corporate plans
  • Knowledge of government regulatory frameworks for State-Owned Companies

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Restructuring
  • Support restructuring initiatives for Transport, Defence, and General sector SOEs
  • Evaluate organizational restructuring and turnaround strategies
  • Collaborate with government departments on entity restructures
Financial Oversight
  • Analyze financial reports and corporate strategies
  • Align organizational plans with policy objectives and industry trends
  • Review MTEF budget proposals and adjustment requests
Risk Management
  • Assess government guarantee requests
  • Monitor compliance with financial guarantee conditions
Sector Analysis
  • Provide regulatory guidance and policy implementation support
  • Participate in sector funding committees
  • Research industry trends and economic impacts
