Position Details
- Employment Type: Full Time
- Education: Matric/N3 Certificate (Mathematics & Physical Science)
- Experience: 5 years (minimum 3 years in winder/shaft systems)
- Location: Musina, Limpopo
- Department: Engineering/Technical
Core Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Maintain winder control systems including compressors and shaft installations
- Update electrical documentation and perform preventive maintenance
- Execute equipment repairs and replacements following technical specifications
- Support planned maintenance programs and record-keeping
Essential Requirements
Formal Qualifications:
- Electrician Trade Certification
- MQA Medium Voltage (MV) & winder certification
Technical Competencies:
- Experience with ACS 6000/SIL-rated systems (preferred)
- Proficiency in MV electrical maintenance
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Valid EB/Code 8 driver’s license
- Medical fitness for underground operations
Employment Conditions
- Shift work and standby duties required
- Successful completion of pre-employment assessments
- Company-sponsored winder system training
