Artisan Production Grade A-C Carpenter Jobs

Requirements:

• An appropriate Trade Test Certificate.
• A minimum of 0-2 years of experience.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of Public Service Legislation, Policies, and Regulations.
• Knowledge of the OHS Act.
• Knowledge of departmental policies, strategies, and procedures.
• Skills in computer-aided technical applications.
• Knowledge of legal compliance.
• Skills: Technical report writing, problem-solving and analysis, decision-making, teamwork, creativity, analytical thinking, self-management, communication, computer skills, planning, and organizing.

Duties:

• Produce designs based on client specifications and within production limits.
• Create objects using materials and equipment according to job specifications and recognized standards.
• Ensure quality assurance for produced objects.
• Inspect equipment and facilities for technical faults.
• Repair equipment and facilities to meet standards.
• Test repaired equipment and facilities against specifications.
• Service equipment and facilities as per schedule.
• Provide quality assurance for serviced and maintained equipment and facilities.
• Compile and submit reports.
• Contribute to the operational plan.
• Maintain job records and registers.
• Supervise and mentor staff.
• Stay updated on new technologies and procedures for personal development.
