Position Summary
Job Title: Artisan: Maintenance
Location: Gauteng
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience Level: 2-3 years
Key Responsibilities
- Execute rapid equipment repairs to minimize production downtime
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring technical issues
- Implement preventative maintenance programs
- Oversee installation and testing of new machinery
- Maintain detailed equipment performance records
- Ensure compliance with BMW operational standards
- Adhere to strict workplace safety protocols
Essential Requirements
- National Certificate (N4) in relevant technical field
- Valid Trade Test certification (Millwright/Electrical/Mechanical)
- 2+ years automotive assembly plant experience
- Technical Diploma (advantageous)
Technical Competencies
- Process control systems
- Fastening technologies & torque tool operation
- Electronic workstation maintenance (AMT/Atlas Copco)
- Industrial PC network management
