Position Details:
Employment Type: Full-Time Permanent
Location: Northern Cape, South Africa
Experience Required: 3-5 Years
Education Requirement: Matric/N2 Technical Certificate + Trade Test
Role Purpose:
Lead maintenance operations for energy-related infrastructure while ensuring safety compliance and cost-effectiveness across African mining sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct equipment repairs using technical diagrams and maintenance plans
- Perform safety inspections and risk assessments on machinery
- Maintain work areas to company safety standards
- Manage maintenance tools and equipment inventory
- Troubleshoot mechanical systems on mining equipment
Essential Requirements:
- Proven expertise in pump repair & maintenance
- Experience with sewage treatment & oil separation systems
- Valid Code 08 driver’s license
- Grade 12/N2 Technical Certificate with Fitter Trade Test
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of ventilation fan maintenance
- Experience with UV80 systems & telehandlers
