Description

We are looking for a skilled Artisan Electro Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will maintain and repair equipment to ensure smooth operations at our mining sites.

• Monitor business processes to ensure compliance, spot issues, and take corrective actions.
• Improve and develop systems for better efficiency.
• Service and repair diesel machinery, vehicles, and equipment by finding faults, fixing root causes, performing repairs, testing, and completing paperwork on time.
• Provide quick support for breakdowns by responding to calls, diagnosing problems, making repairs, testing, and documenting work within deadlines.
• Promote safety, health, and environment (SHE) standards through training and ensuring everyone follows the rules.
• Track SHE performance, set standards, complete checks on time, and fix any problems quickly.
• Build strong relationships with team members, colleagues, and external partners through regular communication and teamwork.
• Manage service providers by checking their performance against agreements and taking action if needed.
• Support the team by joining activities, offering help, and being a reliable team player.

Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent, with Mathematics and Science.
• Electro Mechanic Trade Test Certificate.
• Valid vehicle driver’s license.
• At least 5 years of experience as an Electro Mechanic.
• At least 2 years of experience as an artisan electrician working on specialized machinery and equipment.
