Role Overview
Seeking qualified Electrician to maintain Trackless Mobile Machinery equipment/systems in VUP area, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute maintenance schedules for underground mining equipment
- Maintain electrical systems on heavy machinery including Drill Rigs (DD320-422i), LHDs (LH410-621i), Dump Trucks (TH430-551i)
- Conduct safety assessments and hazard analysis
- Coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime
- Maintain equipment certification records
- Supervise and train maintenance teams
Requirements
- Grade 12/NQF Level 4 with Mathematics & Physical Science
- Electrician Trade Certification
- MQA MV Switching Certificate
- Valid EB/Code 8 Driver’s License
- Proven experience with underground mining equipment maintenance
