Requirements

• Matric Certificate or equivalent qualification
• Section 13 Trade Test/Section 26D Electrical Certification
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
• Medical fitness for underground work
• Competency in working at heights
• First Aid & Competent B certification (advantageous)

Required Experience & Skills

• Extensive experience in winder maintenance/repairs
• Shaft sinking and equipping expertise
• Knowledge of MHSA regulations & safety protocols
• Equipment installation/maintenance proficiency

Key Responsibilities

• Install/maintain HT switchgear systems
• Conduct risk assessments and safety inspections
• Supervise equipment maintenance programs
• Manage spares inventory and tool maintenance
• Ensure compliance with safety standards
• Maintain comprehensive maintenance records
