Key Responsibilities

• Ensure strict compliance with PPE requirements and safety protocols
• Perform electrical/mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance
• Install new equipment using electrical schematics and diagrams
• Conduct predictive maintenance (infrared scans, temperature monitoring)
• Manage work order planning and spare parts coordination
• Maintain industrial equipment including packaging machinery
• Optimize power factor and electrical panel performance

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

• Grade 12 certification
• Electrician Trade Test (Red Seal)
• N3 Electrical Engineering qualification
• Apprenticeship-trained with mechanical proficiency

Required Experience:

• 5+ years in industrial electrical maintenance
• PLC/SCADA systems operation
• Variable frequency drive troubleshooting
• Pneumatic and hydraulic system maintenance
• Shaft alignment and heavy equipment installation
