Essential Qualifications
- Valid Section 13 Trade Test (Boilermaker)
- Competent B Certification
- Current Driver’s License
- First Aid Certification
- Medical Fitness for Underground Work
Required Skills & Experience
- Shaft maintenance and repair expertise
- Pipe column installation competence
- Flame cutting and welding proficiency
- Compliance with safety regulations (MHSA & OHS Act)
- Equipment maintenance documentation skills
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct risk assessments for all tasks
- Maintain structural integrity of mining infrastructure
- Supervise equipment installation and repairs
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Manage tool inventories and maintenance schedules
- Report incidents and hazardous conditions
- Conduct mandatory equipment inspections
