Role Purpose:
Support maintenance operations through equipment upkeep and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend machinery lifespan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with mechanical installations and repair operations
- Participate in equipment troubleshooting and breakdown resolution
- Conduct regular site inspections for maintenance needs
- Perform mechanical component replacements
- Maintain conveyor systems for operational efficiency
- Check and maintain equipment safety features
- Monitor fluid levels and mechanical components
Requirements:
- Grade 12/NQF4 certificate
- N3/N4 in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (advantageous)
- 3-5 years’ experience in production/maintenance environments
- Basic technical knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems
- Understanding of supply chain operations
