Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting artisans with installations, repairs, and maintenance of equipment according to standards.
- Identifying faults and reporting them to the artisan.
- Reporting on daily section performance to the artisan.
- Assisting with section inspections and maintenance observations.
- Helping conduct daily maintenance tasks, both scheduled and unscheduled.
Requirements
About you:
- Grade 12 certificate.
- Full N2 certificate, including relevant trade theory.
- Applicable Aider certificate.
- Previous experience as an Artisan Aid in a mining and plant environment.
- Medically fit to work on surface and underground operations.
