About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented analyst to support market investigations and promote fair competition. You will play a key role in gathering evidence, analyzing market dynamics, and contributing to regulatory decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market investigations using surveys, interviews, and data analysis tools
- Research global best practices in competition policy and market regulation
- Perform economic analysis to identify anti-competitive practices
- Prepare reports and present findings to senior leadership
- Monitor compliance with competition regulations post-investigation
- Support legal processes related to market inquiries
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in economic analysis or regulatory environments
- Strong background in microeconomics/industrial organization
- Proficiency in research methodologies and data interpretation
- Knowledge of South Africa’s Competition Act (advantageous)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
