About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented analyst to support market investigations and promote fair competition. You will play a key role in gathering evidence, analyzing market dynamics, and contributing to regulatory decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct market investigations using surveys, interviews, and data analysis tools
• Research global best practices in competition policy and market regulation
• Perform economic analysis to identify anti-competitive practices
• Prepare reports and present findings to senior leadership
• Monitor compliance with competition regulations post-investigation
• Support legal processes related to market inquiries

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in economic analysis or regulatory environments
• Strong background in microeconomics/industrial organization
• Proficiency in research methodologies and data interpretation
• Knowledge of South Africa’s Competition Act (advantageous)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
