The Road Accident Fund (RAF) is a statutory motor vehicle insurer providing compulsory cover to all South African drivers against liability claims arising from road accidents. Our mandate excludes property damage coverage for vehicles, buildings, or vehicle contents.

Position Details

Primary Responsibilities

Compliance & Regulatory Administration

  • Maintain current procedural documentation for departmental activities
  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies and quality standards
  • Monitor compliance with internal control measures

Office Operations Management

  • Manage correspondence, filing systems, and telephone enquiries
  • Handle confidential information with discretion
  • Coordinate with processing centers on unresolved matters
  • Maintain office supply inventories
  • Process document verification and system updates

Meeting Coordination

  • Schedule internal/external meetings and manage calendars
  • Record and distribute meeting minutes
  • Track action items and follow-up requirements

Records Administration

  • Implement RAF filing protocols and document control systems
  • Manage confidential document handling procedures
  • Maintain accurate file numbering and tracking systems

Candidate Requirements

  • Valid Grade 12 certificate
  • 1 year relevant work experience in administrative functions
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
