ADMINISTRATION CLERK: SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT

Ref No: 2023/343/OCJ

The appointed candidate will be based at the Mpumalanga Division of The High Court: Mbombela. The role commands a salary ranging between R202,233 – R235,611 per annum.

Key Requirements:

  • Matric Certificate
  • Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in Supply Chain Management
  • Three years National Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent qualification at NQF level 6 (360 credits) recognized by SAQA
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Proficient knowledge of PFMA, PPPFA, BBB-EE Act, Treasury regulations, JYP, and BAS
  • Strong planning and organizing skills
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, withstand pressure
  • Demeanor that promotes teamwork and willingness to work overtime when necessary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quote sourcing as per National Treasury guidelines
  • Auditing quotations for compliance with minimum requirements
  • Assisting end users with compliant specifications
  • Optimizing the supply chain system: capturing requisitions and issuing purchase orders
  • Ensuring suppliers are completing standard bidding documents
  • Extending validity periods of quotes
  • Ensuring compliance with SCM policies and proper filing of documents
  • Processing payments to suppliers
  • Handling receipt and issuance of stock items
  • Fulfilling any other duties assigned by the supervisor
