Experience:
- Appropriate experience in administration support services.
Competencies (Knowledge/Skills):
- Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook). Good communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Good administrative, planning, and organisational skills. Knowledge of stock control and asset management.
Duties (Key Result Areas/Outputs):
- Manage the engineering administration facility.
- Handle all calls that come via reception.
- Assist with arranging, preparing, and scheduling meetings and staff training.
- Help with financial and human resources record keeping.
- Write official letters and memoranda for the department.
- Manage the engineering tool store, including issuing, collecting, testing, and safekeeping tools and accessories.
- Provide support to supervisor, colleagues, technical staff, and hospital management.
- Handle information in a confidential manner.
Minimum Educational Qualification:
- Senior Certificate (or equivalent).
