Duties (Key Result Areas/Outputs):
- Coordinate meetings, take minutes, type and share them after the meeting. Coordinate Public Training Institute courses, training information sessions, training logistics, Compulsory Induction Program, and help procure training providers. Process nominations, send confirmation letters, manage attendance registers, and keep a training database. Assist with Training Needs Analysis, compile Quarterly Monitoring Reports, and develop the Workplace Skills Plan. Maintain grievance and disciplinary databases. Provide relief duties in the Human Resource Department.
Competencies (Knowledge/Skills):
- Good communication skills and computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint). Knowledge of basic Labour Relations matters and the Skills Development Act. Knowledge of the Public Service Act and Regulations. Knowledge of PERSAL.
Minimum Educational Qualification:
- Senior Certificate (or equivalent).
