Position Overview

Two full-time roles providing financial support services within the Department of Economic Development and Tourism.

Key Details

Job Type: Full Time
Minimum Education: Grade 12 or equivalent
Location: Western Cape
Department: Finance & Accounting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Progress toward accounting/financial management qualification
  • Valid driver’s license (Code B or higher). Note: Applicants with mobility limitations may apply if transport is accessible

Core Responsibilities

  • Process financial transactions and accounting records
  • Manage payroll administration
  • Provide bookkeeping and administrative support

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of financial regulations (PFMA, Treasury Regulations)
  • Proficiency in financial systems (PERSAL, BAS, LOGIS)
  • Strong numerical and organizational abilities
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
