Essential Requirements
- 3-year finance-related qualification (National Diploma/BCom preferred)
- Municipal Financial Management Certificate (Regulation 493 of MFMA)
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
- Bilingual communication skills (two Western Cape official languages)
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize cost accounting systems
- Analyze financial data and prepare cost reports
- Evaluate cost efficiency across municipal operations
- Assist with financial statement preparation and VAT compliance
- Produce departmental financial and statistical reports
- Support annual financial reporting processes
