Introduction

This role involves providing pharmaceutical care services within your scope of practice and handling day-to-day dispensary administration according to company Standard Operating Plans (SOPs).

Job Objectives

• Maintain high standards of customer service and care.
• Manage efficient stock control and administration, including repacking medicine.
• Handle dispensary administration effectively.
• Perform accurate compounding.
• Offer general health advice.
• Keep high standards of housekeeping and merchandise display.
• Meet other ad hoc requirements as needed for operations.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• Matric with Maths (essential).
• Meet the minimum requirements of the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) for various levels as a Pharmacist Assistant (Qualified, Post Basic, or Learner Basic).

Skills, Abilities, and Job-Related Knowledge:

• Knowledge of products in the health aisle and over-the-counter (OTC) items.
• Understanding of SAPC and relevant legal requirements.
• Customer service focus.
• Team player mindset.
• Strong integrity.
• Ethical working practices and compliance.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Basic calculation skills.
• Familiarity with IT business operating systems.
• MS Office proficiency.
