Position Overview:
We seek a qualified Mechanical Artisan to perform critical maintenance and technical support for our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventative/corrective maintenance on mechanical systems
- Diagnose and repair mechanical subsystem failures
- Interpret technical drawings and work instructions
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Supervise external service providers
- Maintain accurate maintenance reports
- Participate in standby duty rotations
Requirements:
- NQF4/N3 Technical Certificate or equivalent
- National Trade Test Certificate (Mechanical Fitter & Turner/Fitter)
- 5-7 years’ experience in technical trade environment
- Proven mechanical fault-finding skills
