Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Grade 10.
  • Code B Driver’s License.
  • 1-2 years of relevant driving experience.

Key Performance Areas (KPAs): Performs specific driver and messenger tasks for delivering and collecting items from external sources by:

  • Receiving a schedule with delivery and collection requirements, and identifying priorities.
  • Grouping correspondence, mail, and other items by planned destination and route.
  • Checking the vehicle’s condition (tires, fuel, water, oil, brakes, lights, etc.) and completing checklists and log sheets before departure, or reporting defects to the supervisor.
  • Locating specific addresses for delivery or collection, and obtaining or signing acknowledgments of receipt.
