About the Job: SAP Learner (IT)

Purpose of the Job

Impala Platinum is looking for highly committed, dynamic, and recently graduated individuals who are eager to gain practical experience in Information Technology. This learnership program is designed to provide qualified candidates with hands-on exposure to SAP systems. It will help participants become well-rounded IT professionals ready to contribute to the company’s operations.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

  • A qualification at NQF Level 6 or 7 in Information Technology, Information Systems, or Computer Science (essential).
  • A qualification at NQF Level 7 in Accounting (advantageous, for the accounting-related learner position only).
  • Basic understanding of IT systems and processes.
  • Strong interest in Group IT Systems, such as SAP (Business Management System), MRM (Mineral Resource Management), or PPMS (Production Performance Management System).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as a team player.
  • Enthusiasm for learning, with a proactive attitude.
  • Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a genuine passion for technology.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • This is a fixed-term learnership position lasting 2 years.
  • Learners will work closely with IT professionals across various departments, gaining exposure to different technologies and operational processes.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Impala Platinum’s business processes and key applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve technical challenges, developing effective solutions.
  • Participate in troubleshooting activities and provide timely technical support to users.
  • Assist with data analysis and reporting to improve the performance of IT systems.
  • Attend learning sessions, workshops, and training programs to build and expand technical skills.

Shortlisted candidates may be required to undergo psychometric assessments. Impala Platinum Limited reserves the right not to make an appointment.
