About the Position
Exciting apprenticeship opportunity at Hyundai Automotive S.A! The company has announced open applications for apprenticeship. In search of a responsible, diligent, and skilled 1st-year apprentice, closing date for applications is set for the 29th of December, 2029. The workplaces for this job position are in Cape Town and Germiston.
This job opportunity falls under the Apprenticeship Job Type Classification. The successful candidate will be placed at Hyundai S.A., operating within the Western Cape Province in South Africa.
Duties and Responsibilities
As the successful candidate, your duties are not limited to, but will include the following:
- Cylinder head removal, reconditioning, and replacement
- Engine block dismantling, servicing, repairing, and assembling with main components
- Fuel system component removal, diagnosis, and replacement
- Understanding basic electronics and testing ignition system components
- Studying the fundamentals of engine efficiency and forced charging systems
- Electrical component removal, testing, repairing, and replacement
- Clutch and transmission component removal and replacement
- Brake systems and component diagnosis and repair
Qualifications and Experience
A matric certification with Mathematics and Science is required. Candidates with an N1-N4 qualification will be given preference.
Skills and Personal Attributes
The candidate needs to have good communication skills and an interest in Motor Mechanics.
