– Applicants must be physically fit and healthy and maintain fitness levels
– Willingness to work on a 24 hour shift and carry a firearm, as well as maintain firearm competency levelKey Performance Areas:– Enforcing of Traffic Regulations and By-Laws
– Ensuring the reduction of traffic congestion– Perform crime prevention functions by enforcing relevant legislation
– Deliver on the specialised functions assigned to the specialised units of the Metro Police/Traffic Services to ensure an effective response to internal and external service demands– Liaison with the Public and Key Stakeholders to maintain effective and efficient stakeholder relations– To ensure all administrative sequences related to statutory documentation, registers and statistics are performed
